Born in 1976 in Mexico City and now a resident of Barcelona, Ramón Estrada Torrescano is an industrial engineer by trade and an executive coach and leadership development consultant by vocation.

He works as a co-pilot to leaders, helping them to achieve high levels of performance in order to enhance their impact on the world.

Using the metaphor of the space journey, Ramón’s approach to coaching is a rigorous process that involves exploring the design of the ship: the client’s authenticity; defining the destination and the purpose of the mission; and generating the energy to get there through resilience and learning. He does this by creating a confidential and trust-based atmosphere, where openness of thought, emotions, and body movements work together, and where creativity flows.

Graduating with honours as a Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Tec de Monterrey, Mexico, Ramón holds a Masters degree in Creative City Management (2012) from UPC and an MBA from the IESE Business School, Spain (2006). He is a certified ontological coach through the Newfield Network and a graduate of the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Ramón is a member of the Spain Chapter of the International Coach Federation and of Harvard Medical School’s Institute of Coaching.

With over 20 years of professional experience Ramón has experienced the world of business from all perspectives: as an entrepreneur, as an executive, and as a consultant, before embarking on his current career.

“I’ve been an entrepreneur six times, all in different ways. This winding path has been one of the greatest challenges of my life, forcing me to constantly re-discover opportunities in alignment with my abilities. The experience has taught me to challenge the status quo in order to come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.”

Ramón speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
