Born in South Africa, Johannes has a B. Admin. from Pretoria University of South Africa and is a graduate of the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London.
Directorial credits include Kaspar, the first full-length drama of Austrian playwright Peter Handke, The Key, based on a famous novel written by Nobel Prize Laureate Junichiro Tanizaki, and Eugene Ionesco’s Le Roi se Meurt (Exit the King).
Based for 25 years in Paris, France, Johannes has now returned to the Cévennes hills of the south and, in addition to his corporate facilitation work, he currently manages the administrative board (SCI) of Malérargues, home of the Roy Hart Theatre.
Johannes speaks English, French, Dutch, and Afrikaans.
