Take a journey down the river of your life stories! Through a structured series of exercises and vocal improvisations, combining the disciplines of the Roy Hart Theatre voice, body, and imagination work, this workshop invites participants to explore and embody their personal life stories, and learn to tell these with presence and vocal confidence. We will engage in voice and body work to move into expression through personal stories and the art of storytelling. Days will commence with physical and vocal warm-ups, followed by individual and group work incorporating vocal sound creation and accompanying physical movement. Afternoons will focus on storytelling with individual, pair, and group exploration, and voice and singing work in the Wolfsohn, Hart, and Roy Hart Theatre tradition. Each day will build on what emerges in the previous days, culminating in individual and group presentations.
